nayook (nirim baluk) is a stranger and storyteller that lives and works across the lands of the Kulin Nation. Her role is not to comfort, nor to entertain, but to be held in place for a time a mutually created here and now.
Her work is often inextricable from her cultural, social, and personal identities, which make themselves known through context and through presentation.
A note on pronouns: while the Big Three (she, he, they) may be applied interchangeably to the person I am, for peace of mind I use she/her in bios. It just doesn’t get flagged by editors as much.
